With economic growth of up to 10% a year, India’s demand for energy is growing at a pace only surpassed by China. One major use of energy – an increasingly scarce and expensive resource – is cooling of rooms and machines. Most of the energy for the Indian subcontinent is produced with coal fired power plants. This increasing need for energy coupled with fossile power generation results in high CO2 emissions.
The objective of the PPP-project designed by WiN=WiN is the improvement of energy efficiency in heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and IT / telecommunication. Potential savings are exceptionally big in these areas. To this end, Ebm-papst conducts activities to promote awareness amongst its customers, employees and multipliers of relevant companies. In workshops and tutorials companies, potential customers and end users are going to be trained in the efficient use of energy. The PPP-project will raise awareness for the use of modern components and technologies that have positive impacts for the environment and at the same time for operation costs.
